This DZR CW602n Brass Pitless Adapter 1" Lead Free , Water Source is used to connect submersible well pump discharge pipe to the horizontal pipe entering the house. The adapter comes in 2 pieces that slide together creating a water tight seal. This allows the pump to be removed from the well for service without digging the horizontal run of pipe. This pitless adapter has a brass body with Buna-N O-rings and gaskets and meets federal low lead regulations.
